Kenny's shinkansen

Kenny made this rather amazing sketch of two trains all by himself. When I saw it I wondered for a moment if his mum had done it. I'm surprised that a two year old can sketch recognizable things. It's got windows and wheels! Apparently I'm one of the blobs in the middle, and his friend Takumi-kun from the day care is the other blob. But I'm not sure, he may have been coming up with answers because we were querying him on those blobs. Watching him draw, it's not quite so surprising that he can make recognizable shapes. His grip on the pencil is excellent! この絵、すべて建が描きました。長い円の中に丸がいっぱいある絵を指して「これは？」と聞くと新幹線と答えてくれました。自分の描きたいものを、こうやってちゃんと形にできるなんてビックリ！建君すごいぞ！
