Kentucky Ken
This is a journal of Kenneth Akio Werneburg. Recorded by parents with a website, a camera, and no sense of shame, it chronicles the adventures of a Canadian-Japanese boy growing up in Tokyo.
The name of the website was inspired by our downstairs neighbour. She mis-heard the boy's name as "Kentucky Ken". Somehow.
A photo book detailing Kenny's first year is now for sale on blurb.com
I know that this is a process I'll have to get used to (or as the Japanese say in tongue-twisting fashion, 'nakunakerebanarimasen') but it's true.

Also, I don't know if I've mentioned this before but .. god I love film cameras. This came from my (very) second-hand Olympus rangefinder, a 3.5 year old X'mas gift from Mari that cost less than ¥13,000 but turns out great results time after time.
